Katsucon was GREAT!! The panels we were in were awesome and we met great people and had great company and everything was great.
Yay!!
So for those who care, this is the costume that I’ve been working on for MONTHS…Raenef, from Demon Diary. A fairly old, fairly obscure manga but it’s my absolute favorite so I’m glad that I’m doing this.
To be debuted at Katsucon! :D
zom-be-gone asked: If you don't mind my asking, how did you make your belt for Black Widow?
It was really easy! I went to Michael’s and I found these wooden pre-cut craft ovals…they were like sets of 4 or 6 for about $3. Then I spray painted them with Krylon metallic gold spray paint (about 4 or 5 coats), and adhered them onto a gold rope belt that I got at goodwill with heavy-duty craft glue. The symbol was nail polish.
So yeah, it was really easy, and of course I got pretty lucky with locating the right supplies. All in all I’d say it took about 4 hours total? Maybe?
